Location: Position located at the Success Center – for Milwaukee Public Schools –

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assess emotional and behavioral needs for students ages 8-18
• Plan and implement individual and group music therapy services
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team through MPS, BLOOM art therapists, and various SC program partners to evaluate treatment progress
• Communicate with student’s home school staff and caregivers
• Attend and/or facilitate treatment progress meetings
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Available part Time = 18 hours/ 3 days a week
• Bloom is a non-profit art therapy organization that serves Milwaukee and surrounding areas. Our philosophy is highly patient-centered, and our mission is to make quality art therapy and mental health services accessible.

• Hold the WI Music Therapist – Registered (WMTR) credential
• Meet the educational requirements and hold the national Music Therapist-Board Certified (MT-BC) credential from the Certification Board for Music Therapists. (May be working towards credential.)
