Job Description

Healing Harmonies is seeking a well-rounded, passionate, responsible and reliable music therapist to join our dynamic growing team of board certified music therapists!  We are a rapidly growing private practice, providing services to Milwaukee, Waukesha and surrounding Counties.  Our philosophy is highly patient-centered and our mission is to make quality music therapy services accessible to those of all abilities/disabilities throughout our community who are in need of maintaining or improving their health and/or quality of life through the power of music.
Clients are seen at our Wauwatosa office location as well as in the community and so extensive driving is required at times. This position will serve individual and group clients. Services are provided for a variety of clients including but not limited to: children with developmental disabilities in our clinic space, home, and schools;  hospice care, Aging Adults (Alzheimer’s/Dementia, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, Rehab, etc), adults with developmental disabilities, as well as some in-home clients.

This is a part-time position to start with the possibility of growing to full time should the candidate desire and the candidate is the right fit for the agency. The therapist will be an employee of Healing Harmonies, LLC with an anticipated start date of April, 2019.

Pay is based on education and experience. Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy as well as Board Certified Music Therapist (or intent to become board certified). NMT training is strongly desired, but not a requirement.

Therapist must be flexible, organized, detail oriented, dependable, independent, have excellent communication and documentation skills, creative, willing to learn, solid music skills, professional, punctual, and ready to work as a team player. Must have reliable car and insurance. Must pass background check.
